Event Recap: My Winter Love & Vacay with TaeJin

I had so much fun at the first two cup sleeve events of the year! It was nice to be surrounded by my peers again and to speak to customers about the KPOP merch and stationery they've been loving so far.

I was happy I could support a couple of the vendors there. I saw stickers and I just had to have them! The BT21 and Miffy stickers were from DoodleByun (IG: @doodlebyun) and the kawaii face sticker was from Jelly Cloud Co (IG: jellycloudco_).

At this event, I sold out of the Darling Memo. It seems to be my most popular Seventeen memo!

Overall, the vibe was good and I had fun. I had a friend volunteer with me because I hurt my back. It was nice to have company especially when it was slow.

Vacay with TaeJin

This event was held at Play KPOP Cafe. The air quality was definitely concerning on the way to this venue, but when I got there, the conditions improved. There were so many vendors at this event. I was really happy to go to each table and hand out the freebies I made.

I was not able to walk around and peruse everyone's merch, but I did make a new acquaintance with Colors with Kimmi (IG: @kim_tram). Everything she had on the table were so cute! I told her that I never considered using a credit card skin before, but after seeing her creations, it made me want to get into it. It would take some time, but maybe one day I will take the plunge. Currently, the thought of committing to just one sticker on my card is a bit daunting. I settled for playing her lucky spin where she had the cutest BT21 stickers as prizes! They were so big and cute!

I was set up against one of the walls of Daiso. It was a nice little corner so there were a lot of space around me. I had a lot of fun chatting with customers this day.

My friend EJ (IG: @3jrkpop) came by and then he gifted me with the most beautiful official photo card of Hyunjin from the Hop Nemo Version. I may or may not have also influenced him to buy a credit card skin from Colors With Kimmi. I love living vicariously through people!

At this event, eight people - most of them customers - received a free BT21 holiday sticker. I loved seeing them smile when I offered them the freebie.

Finally, the thing I was most excited about was lunch! As soon as I finished setting up, I went to the Japanese market to get a snack and lunch. The squid karaage was so delicious! It was also my first time trying kimchi! It was an interesting flavor. Maybe I can acquire the taste later, but so far, it's not something I would readily ask for. 

At this event, I sold out of the Aniteez Memo, Aniteez Trade Notes, Melting Point Memo, and Munshin Memo. I was so grateful to make more sales this day!
